Artist identification and selection, custom curation of a portfolio of 25 artists to match the client’s needs and consultation to select the final artist.
Artwork design process and stakeholder engagement, leading the client through multiple rounds of revisions and conducting research on behalf of the artist into local community to inform the final artwork.
Event coordination for a one-day public ‘Paint Day’ event for an audience of 200 guests, including prominent local figures like the Mayor of Coconut Creek.
Staff coordination involving 12 professional artists to prepare and finalize the mural on Polytab Sheeting, both before and after the paint day event.
Full installation involving wall priming, heavy machine operation, Polytab Sheeting stretching, Polytab gluing to adhere to the wall, and sealing of the final artwork to increase the lifespan and durability of the completed artwork.
Highlights:
Leverage a 200+ person ‘Paint Day’ event to strengthen the local community’s bond with Promenade at Coconut Creek.
Successfully convert a 5,000 sq. ft. garage facade into a monumental artwork that is now an iconic representation of Promenade at Coconut Creek’s commitment to the City of Coconut Creek.
